The company is engaged in the provision of research and experimental development on natural sciences and engineering. It was incorporated in December of 1990 and has its registered head office located in Granadilla De Abona, Spain. The company specializes in providing research activities and technological development related with the use of the renewable energies, as well as other interests aspects for the regional social-economical development: subterranean hydro resources, seismic-volcanic prediction and surveillance, environmental control, and development of communication and information technologies. It aims to cover the need of starting a new research field in the islands to reduce the exterior energy supplying dependence and allow a cleaner and sustainable development. The company is a part of the Cabiledo Insular De Tenerife, which is engaged in the administration of the State and the economic and social policy of the community.
